Captain Chaos (attempting) to drive a 360 today.
I had to do a load of courses to drive plant, now it appears watching an episode of Grand Designs will suffice.
“The ground’s bad here, it’s all up and down, you can’t get the machine level.”
:unamused:
I did offer to show him (getting the tracks level helps) but driving one most days doesn’t qualify, obviously.

All of those motors look interesting, especially the one in the garage behind the snap on toolboxes. what’s the story with that lorry?

It’s just one of those yards were nothing gets thrown away Colin.

Didn’t see anything of interest today to be fair.
Tomorrow is another day though.

I’ve driven one of those Cat 951 “traxcavators” (not a “drott” as often called as they were Internationals);
The levers were back to front ie raise bucket was lever forward and lower was lever back. I think the tip lever was standard though.
Talking of Internationals, I did part of my dozer course years ago on a TD15; That was an animal of a thing.

The real test is if you can use a hymac ,with the dipper on the floor and the slew is forward and back .
