Not seen much to be fair as I have been in the office.

Has anyone got any photos of Mostyn Docks from the 80s 90s ?

I went there today to meet a haulier and it was dead.
Mainly wind farm stuff and metal fabrication going on.

I used to be a limper in the late 80s and into the 90s and one of the agency jobs was coils ex Shotton to Mostyn Docks.
Great when it rained as they wouldn’t tip you.
Money for old rope sitting about till it cleared up.
Used to do the nights as well to llanwern, Port Talbot etc.
Around the 3 min mark on the link below is an ex British Steel sed ak that was based at Shotton.

I’m in there tomorrow.
Strange, Burford Quarry is nearer Swinbrook or Brize Norton than Burford, whereas Whitehill Quarry is closer to Burford. Both Smiths owned, Whitehill is the mothballed one on the right as you head towards Witney on the A40 out of Burford.
