They will ask for a downpayment to investigate you situation then say ‘NO’ keeping some or all of your cash, it’s an old trick that has been tried time and time again in the UK, now most have got wise to it. 
Only skilled, highly qualified personnel can get work permits or people with very close relatives. … Truck driving is an unskilled labour job in the eyes of the US gov.
Please don’t be conned by these people. Read some old posts before you go any further.

As Pat said Boots it’s nigh on impossible and even the posible ways are made so bloody costly and complicated.
It’s not just a case of getting a Visa as to get that you need labor certification which just aint gonna happen 
Of course you could always hop a flight to Mexico and run across the border before they finish the fence 
seems they are having difficulty finding “legals” to build it
Apply to do the harvest and see if you like it here. The immigration reform bill got shot down again this week but will get passed eventually as the govt wants the 11 million plus illegals to start paying taxes.Thats alot of money that could be spent on the Iraq war.

Yeah,thought it sounded a bit too good.
But on another note Australian Government is seriosly looking at including trucking as a skilled occupation.There are temp work visas availible in most employment fields here a/c so called “Labour Shortage”-the PC way of saying we only want to pay Thirld World wages to us,but thats life.
Will keep you updated if the Bill gets posted.It is a two year visa and very similiar to H2 A/B US work visa’s,you are “Indetured” to 1 employer etc.

It got nowhere just like all the others did.
M.S. carriers out of Memphis (now part of the Swift group) tried it to thats how Cliff Wardby ended up out there but I seem to remember only managing to get a few guys out there because they already had US connections 
Werner have also tried and failed. As have Covenant and many other big companies
I’d just like to agree with the other posters about that website.
When i drove for Schneider Transport i met an Irish driver who came over
here on a deal like that but i think he could only stay for a short time.
On one of our visits back i picked up a UK trucking mag and saw that add
“Come see America and drive for MS Carriers”

Yes, I too got all that bumf from MS, but after the initial enthusiasm from them and filling in the form I heard nothing more. I think it was an age thing, I was in my mid 50s at the time I think. Turns out they did me a good turn then, would have missed out on all that lovely redundancy money.
where do some of you get your info at ■■ im not saying that truckerforusa is good or have i worked for them or every will but i do know people that have gone with them to get a job in the states!!
but company’s do help get green cards for truck driver’s to come over and go to work for them there are (2) in iowa that are real good to work for can put you to them 4 of them are from kiwi land and 3 of them are out of oz land they didnt use( truckerforusa) can give the number of the company that the owner of the trucks pulled loads for and that company can tell you that the guy is good to work for
there is a guy out of texas that gets drivers from u.k.nz and oz that is good he even has a website that he will hire now this guy is also good to work for!!

i dont think you have i’ll even bet on it coz if you did you they wud have told you something that even they have over looked about trucking so lets see if you can pick up a phone and ask them if they can get one if the company all ready has a agg-permit and if you dont no what that is you never talked to anyone

Like I said been done to death Carl. H1a and agg Visas are OK but not bulletproof. The above is just one of the threads that have covered this at length.
The long and short of it is that it is not “easy”. Unlike some countries like Canada who are bright enough to recognise the shortage and create appropriate legislation and Visa programmes to deal with the issue.
Statistically and realistically the people who ask “this question” are looking for the safe and guaranteed route which as you well know is not really there despite what the rip off merchants would have you believe
Most of the people who think about doing this would be wanting to move with families etc which is pretty risky if it ain’t wrote in stone
the next thing you mite say is that you cannt be in england driving on a class a cdl from the states just as the brits did but then there you go again no one call up the dvla and ask. how it can be done love it when the brits say it cannt be done BUT O YES IT CAN love it when i do my home work and other people just say things and dont know what they are talking about

i understand what you are saying and im not saying that agg hireing is 100% or that they will find the right guy or company to work for all im saying is that there are some out there that are good and they are looking for some drivers i just dont think some are looking that hard im not saying to go down to or pay any of them for a job but i used to be looking for a driver and got one from some where out side of u.k, canada ,mexico or the states and hes the best guy that i found any where so dont say a company cannt get a green card
