Hi Pat there’s enough glue in that model to hold a real one together !!
I think the next one will be your old BBM 326T F12 , I ain’t brave enough to do the F88 yet… Its an expensive model to mess up!

HI All
Pat Chris s’ Landtrain is on the North East thread in Ward Bros livery
Rich
Is this the same one Richard??
Hi Par
Luv the Model
Im sure its the same one I cant remember wich way it went I think Chris sold it to Ward Bros.
I will ask him when he answers his phone unless you see him first
There are quite a few old Southampton or Southampton linked motors on other threads, small worlrd isn,t it
Cheers Rich
Pat even is that what they call you on the golf course
Hi Pat
The two Landtrains (S24) were LTR 689Y which went to Marler s in Stalybridge & then to Malta
The other one is A 390 OPX & Im not sure if its the Ward one or not as I say I will have to ask Chris.
Cheers Rich.
Hi Jim,
Well done mate that’s a lovely model, your talents are wasted driving that S class !!

Hi Rich,
This is for sale in Malta at the moment,do you think it’s LTR 689Y with an extra axle put in ? They want 18,000 euro’s for it !
Perhaps if Pat wins a few more golf tournaments he will buy it
Hi Jim, I’ll be at the August bash cheers

A reply to Marc (Bubbleman) on his scrapbook thread
bubbleman:
Hi again,Hey Pat…Great model Jim did for you,you must be made up.Tell me ,is the model for yourself to display or did Jim do it for himself…He’s got to do a 140 now surelyCheers Bubbs,
Hi Marc he has done it for himself he already has a 141 being built for his self
Not finished yet
Based on LJA 597P
His next project will be a F12 based on BBM 326T which he drove for me the only Volvo I have ever owned, be
Before he attempts a Volvo F88 based on his own one years ago
Hi Pat Hi Marc, I must add Pat that the 141 is not being done by myself but by John Holcroft, who built another 140 scania back on page 102 of this thread( if memory serves me right) , but you never know Marc I might have a go at making one into a 140 super, as I have a couple under the bench now.
Regards Jimski.
Pat , I guess that Volvo must be an ex Comptons one with the 2 number plates on the bumper.
Hi All
I spoke to Chris today & I got it all wrong there was something in the memory about the Ward Bros one and that is it was probably the first one.
Chris thinks the second one went to South Africa
Also the tipper looks like Leylands demo with an axle added
Chris old one had Tri-lex wheels
Cheers Rich
Hi Kerbut yes mate your right the F12 was ex Mark Comptons I was a bit of a Volvo man myself came back off one trip and Pat had the F12 for me happy days !! I was driving a 111 (DEV 192T ) before the Volvo.
Regards Jimski

I could do with seeing some pics of Compton’s Volvos for reference for a model I am planning. I have seen a picture of a Scania someone put on TN some time ago, but want to see a Volvo!
Hi all, hi Dieselcowboy did you get me email?? R Jimski
sure did mate, I have replied.
Hello Jimski
Jimski what make of model did you use?and did you have to convert it to right hand drive. Its a crackin model!!!
Regards Jacko
Hi all , Hi R-Jacko yes mate it’s an italeri kit number 792 scania Topline 143R yes I think I’m right in saying that all the italeri kits come in left hand drive so yes its been converted to right hand drive (right hand drive kit from M&G Mouldings)
Also the low roof is from M&G. Rear wheel arches are scratch built with photoetch chequer plate from Kit form services
Wheel trims. Airlines, front wide steer wheels, mud flaps, rear lights, grill decals are all from Howard at Kit Form Services, he’s a nice fella and will help you with any odd things you may need Jacko.
I must say the Pat Duffy decals came from Alex Parkin and puts a nice touch to the finish! Also another goodfella who is more than helpful with what ever you need.
Well Jacko I feel an old Bakers wagon coming on mate !
Regards Jimski
