Hi all, great to see these photos. Spent many an hour, evening and even the odd week end there at Vialle Certosa
normally at Italmondo,s either waiting to top up with groupage or to collect t-forms, or sometimes just to eat at The Dutchmans.
I see in the bottom two photos is my mate Paul Nicholls who used to drive for Buzzer with me at the time we were pulling for STS.
Talking of Davies, hers a couple more pics from the archives. ( both taken at the old yard in Hedge End )
Hi Tony, I do like them pics of Buzzers Volvos, many thanks for ALL them emails…Brill

Thanks for putting that up Alan.I got it up on the internet after speaking to Nobby Stratton
this afternoon. As a former Royers driver I feel very sad for the 80 who could be out of work tomorrow.I said on a earlier posting that I thought there was some fishy business going on.Hope there is some solution.Good luck lads.Regards Charlie. No smiley faces today.
Very sad news that…tragic for those gonna out of work so near to Christmas.
Anyone know how long Royers / Connings had been operating for ■■?
I did a brief spell at Boyes Conning when they were at Woolston delivering groupage on the North West run.
Had to leave though cos my back could,nt stand up to the occasional handball.
They were a friendly firm to work for at the time…Shame what,s happened.
Tony
