I saw your truck in Pentalver’s Gate 10 yard Tony and thought it was you, that’s why I rang you, then I remembered you were off sick. It looked OK to me (the truck) but I only saw one side. Didn’t look too fresh southbound on the M3 today!
I intend to meet up with Ian Elkins before I go back. Spoke to him for the first time in 25 years or so (since his leaving for Oz party). I will see if I can influence him to attend the August Bash.

Not sure I know a Barry Barnes, but I worked with a Les Barnes who was on Squibbs…the same man perhaps …
Over the years I’ve worked with quite a few drivers who never used their given name, and used something completely different…for whatever reason…if fact one comes in to see you from time to time
Another for instance is Mappo who was actually christened …Gladys…but prefers Tony…
