Hi Jim cost was the eliminatihg factor here cost over a grand to paint a truck in two tone blue even all those years ago Solent Body Builders used to do my paint jobs at first and the blokes that did it were perfectionists trouble with the dark blue it looked ok in the paint shop but out in the sun it invariably showed up some underspray it was a right sod to get perfect.If Horry ever gets round to doin up a round head light globey maybe we’ll paint it in those old colours just for a bit of nostalgia! Sure look’s good don’t it.

Mappo what is your ailment cos i might be able to help as i have a stock of pennysillen in the frigo and some gurt big hypodermic needles you know you only have to say the word and il’l be round. straight in the bum and you’ll be right as rain

Harry brought one of your old trucks & then carried on with the colours.
It wouldnt cost too much today as you could order them in one blue & have a sticky stripe put around them, but i think white is better for fridge work.

Morning , that would be correct. It was a RHD F10 which was not here for a great length of time - reg began WCG and was either on an ‘X’ or ‘V’ reg. Terry Sparrow drove it for a while. I am sure it was purchased from the Portsmouth region when we got it.
