Ha ha…well spotted Jimmer…what you trying to say ■■? :unamused:
If you go Swiss next year Jim, you,ve gotta go via Simplon…though I suppose

Look out for me in the morning mate, I,ll be coming down with an empty trailer… :open_mouth:

I’ll ring you about Newbury that’ll be bout 7:45

Morning all, Jimski, thank you for sharing your pictures, gosh, things have changed, (but not the views from Cenis)! Though I seem to remember the road surface was a lot more “iffy”, back in the 60s!

You have really exercised my little grey cells this morning!

Thanks again.

Have to second that Saviem, Old Jimmer did a good job there with pictures of places and bars we all remember and I think he did well to find some still in place. We all went every week to various destinations in Italy and in them way back days there was a lot of camaraderie unlike today, sure things have changed but have they not every where.
You have wetted the taste buds Jim, we surely got to organise the coach trip now mate, cheers Buzzer.

Hi Buzzer we’ll now you mention that, I was only talking to Steve Cherrett about that , Richard Green I’m sure would be the favourite guy to ask about a coach, book some hotels on route and there you go easy !!
BUT ! The only prob would be getting a load of truck drivers out of each watering hole on route !
and as they won’t be driving well… Can you imagine !! yep lets do it ! Bet we won’t even make Macon !!
Might not even get out the Ferry Boat !!

Might not even get off the ferry… :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Good afternoon TIR, better book the coach for a Christmas run, DFDS / LD Lines are pulling the plug on Ports / Le Havre route in the new year. You better stick your card in from Lorraines to Folkestone so Mr Green can do the rest from Calais

if that lot get a trip organised touring the continent there will be no need for a referendum on europe , they’ll chuck us out !

You talk as if you know us and that we may stir up trouble instead of a bit of “en tent cordiall” and ime sure the members will resemble that accusation, cheers Buzzer.

In reply to the above post, what ,e said. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Horry…is it likely that anyone else will take over the Ports / Le Havre route…■■?
I can’t believe that route will come to an end…blimey talk about the end of an era. :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
If that is the case, I guess you,ll be shipping Ports / Caen.■■?
