Hi Jimmer, yeh not long now mate…better start saving my pennies…once I get
back to work, 5 bloody weeks off now.
Should have been back by now after the carpel tunnel thingy, but now I,ve got cellulitus
so that’s another week off.

Nice looking Volvo that Colin, good find that.
Very similar colours to Bill Robinsons back in the day, but it’s not his.

It certainly looks like a younger me I must admit. Although not as handsome. On a different note my lady wife and myself passed a very pleasant afternoon with GAZIOW and his child bride. Drove a few thousand Ks and visited a load of routiers. Good to see you Gary. Regards Charlie.

Well Mappo, here is a drawing of another Volvo, you might recognise the hand of the artist, or the truck itself,

Blimey Colin where did you dig that up from? I wonder if that was after Mark Compton owned it or before, as I saw Mark at Gaydon he said he bought it in Manchester, and after it went back and forth to Italy for a few years with him, went to TransOman Poole , and he said it ended up wrapped around a crash barrier some where abroad, not a good ending for a lovely old truck, still nice pic tho !
Regards Jimmer here’s one more in model form !
