Any Euro drivers know of ex British International drivers, they had an office in Leca de Palmeria, the Atlantico beach hut cafe, with the south African lady owner, some swinging was going on there, and a randy couple that would park by the units for all to see them at it.
All night loading at Lassens or Trevomar,no sleep,as the warehouse would want us shunting around the the bays and loading ramps. The locals went home to sleep and hook up in the morning.
That terrible IP 5 to Villar Formoso, almost a whole day to get to the border if loaded to the max with groupage, getting to Vitoria and staying awake, then not sleeping due to too much caffeine to get there, then wide awake all night.I had a Daf 310,low roof cab, yellow roof, white cab, then a green 142,wrecked that in France, marble moved in the load, then an ex Peter Gilders 142,maroon cab, with an Esteppe Dutch roof conversion.Customs took it for rebate fuel.

A pic courtesy of Marc (Bubbleman)'s Scrapbook thread, this time Simon Moore’s Scania and tipper.

Simon used to sub for STS with a lefthand drive Scania 142 he bought from me MCJ800Y

Was sent this pic of a Borden Chemical F88
