Hi folks,
There`s not much choice when the letter Z comes around. :unamused:

This Russian-built Zil was owned by a chap up here in Kendal , ■■■■■■■■ I understand it has since been sold ,
but I do not know of its current whereabouts.

Photographed here at a Vintage Rally ( possibly Scorton , Lancashire ) , a few years ago.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

I`m afraid the only names I can come up with are Zeligson Zil and Zwicky.

Now what? Regards Charlie

Bakers transporting tram out of Southampton

Hills on a journey westbound out of Southampton

Colin

I used to go to school on those GUY buses. There was a subtle difference: ALL buses except the No.5 route were 4 cylinder Gardner. The No.5 was a circular route which never stopped and were 5 cylinder.

I remember a garage/depot up The Avenue, halfway up The Common, on the right, on a parallel road. In that depot were Trams, this would have been about…197o…I don’t remember Trams on the road in Southampton.

That Gazzer is cos you’s young !! Like me!, now I think the tram workshop was just on the bend in Highfeild Rd, just before the Ave Campus.
