Now there’s a blast from the past, I’m sure that my old man drove that for a while. Is it my memory playing tricks on me or did it have a Gardner engine in it?

No ‘Zanussi’ liveried truck pics to complete the alphabet?
As Colin has now reached the end of the alphabet on Soton transport companys I think we should do the same with truck makes at the rate of one letter per day and I shall start with AEC as I have owned a few in my early days.any one can contribute so if you can think of another truck beginning with “A” then lets hear it. Here is a snap of a Mandator with 760 engine with a very young Horry in the fore ground,it was ex Harp Larger from alton and was bought from Princes when in Millbrook for the grand sum of £1000,cheers Buzzer

Todays letter is “B” for Bedford ,I also had several of these in the early years, some one out there must have a pic, over to you Jimmer, cheers Buzzer.
My ‘B’ contribution to this is BERLIET, did a couple of trips with one for a haulier from Lymington in the late seventies, the lasting memory is the ackward/backward gearchange on the RHD version.
