Last time i was in hospital there was a farmer in the bed across from me who was from buxton,he was a m8 of mr lomas and he came to visit him in hospital,he seemed a nice bloke ,im sure the farmer called him piggy or something like that ,

Yep ,thats the fella m8 ,i was a bit iffy on drugs at the time ,i was nearly there

Nice trucks passed 2 of their motors last week on the M40 they wasn’t amused neither flashed me either

I wouldn’t take it personally, most big firms are the same. Always get some driver’s who think they are better than everyone else unfortunately 
I just ■■■■■■ Me off that when you clearly flash them to give them right of way when it isn’t their right off way and they can’t even lift a pinky off the steering wheel and say thank you. I see a lot of tippers being based in Buxton, tarmac and cemex are big companies and they have manners. Lomas drivers think they are better than us because they drive nice trucks and work for dinky.
they drop cement in CPI where im working at the moment from Buxton lime…
The impression i get is that if you do days or nights, you’ll get a double manned cab, lime during the day and fly ash from drax on nights!
if you tramp then you’ll get predominantly on the ash job, with the odd lime to make the load count up!
seems a good craic TBH… the drivers that come into CPI always seem happy

It was definitely one of the 14 or 64 reg volvos, Judging by the small midlife axel, but I’ve been off for a few days, but back in Tuesday !

It’s a big company now, there’s nearly 300 drivers and with big companies you get all & sundry, yes there’s the big 'eads the spoilt gits and the (zb)nkers ! But generally over all there’s a lot of good lads ! But still no excuse for manners pal, we’re not all like that
