“Young Stubby” still here at Lomas.Went to his surprise 60th birthday party about 3 years ago. 
I don’t think they and W G Tankers get on very well do they , had an electrical fault on my W G Tanker one night had to call Crouches out , they sent a bloke from Lomas, he explained the situation about them and WG , but company said fix it , so I went to their yard near Doveholes , I didnt realise how big they are descent blokes as well , looked after me .

Sorry to drag old thread up, but I was searching for lomas and found this. I picked one of their drivers up last night(I’m a cabbie still) he told me they have just got some class 2 in so I’m thinking of giving Richard(I think he said to speak to) a bell see if I can get my foot in the door for when I get my Cpc.

Any more up to date information about Lomas as i have sent my cv for a job just want to know what i am letting myself in to. Don’t mind hard work just want to get back out on the road with good money, so any info would be great. Thanks Michael.
