just uploading a picture of my Leyland buffalo thought these lorries were great as I did many a mile in these with my dad as a kid also had two lynx skip lorries to upload lynxs at later date

Had them come in at Burroughes of Bressingham. They were addicted to the workshop from new. The first time we had to tip the cab on one turned us against them from the start and that engine was never going to stick the work we did. Them and the Mk1 Marathon finished a longtime association with British Leyland motors. We had 50 ergos that were good wagons for British middle distance work, but as they died they were replaced with Dafs,Alphas, and anything else that came through the gate, even a Transcontinental , but the speedmerchants got that down to 5MPG which made the traffic office sneer. another picture of the other skip lorry on a v plate with the 500 fixed head this truck was still working in august 2007 just before I acquired it I remember it being on the road in the 80,s seeing it when out with my dad,bill mason had the lorry from new.
