Hello mate! If you look on the LHD C-series thread (it’s on page 2 of this forum as I write), you’ll see a bit of an essay - written by ‘Saviem’ - on United / Taseco and their large orders of ERF for the Arabian Peninsula. Cheers! Robert

This one did a few trips to M/E
Thanks for your contribution, Toureg123. If you look back thro’ this thread, you’ll see that Manadient ran this plain white LHD B-series (PNV 486V) to the Gulf on ‘fridge work; it then went to Gammond’s where it acquired an unusual mid-lift axle; and it later went to Drake. Robert

Hey, Which handle ■■?
And an ERF or in France.Bye Eric,
Hello Eric! I’ll put that 2nd pic on the ‘ERF European 1975’ thread if you don’t mind, as it is an NGC not a B-series; and underneath it I’ll show a pic of the front of it! Nice discovery on your part. Robert
Another shot of the Dutch Vermeulen LHD B-series unit that sometimes acted as a ballasted tractor. Robert

Strewth, that’s some beast! Good old Swiss for buying ERFs. Robert
I don’t know the exact year of participation on Geneva exposition but this picture was taken on the
stand of ERFIM AG of Reinach near Basel. According to Harry ERF then had several dealers as well as
serviceworkshops in CH. HQ was in Spreitenbach near Zurich.
The headlamps of this Swiss 6x4 B-series “betray” it’s after 1978…
Thank you for bringing the picture ‘alive’ A-J. I notice that Harry has his own name on the headboard! Robert
After the success of 'Shed 1" Harry now succeeds the NGC-movie with the B-movie! , however,
the book is far better than the movie! Lol
