Leaving PCV and joining LGV/HGV

Hi yas4u!
Yes. Driving W&D is just like Bendy Bus wich I enjoy.
The thing is, the only thing that make me worry on the test
was reversing and uncoupling/coupling. So when I done it
I thought thats it, the licence is mine!
I would say I didn’t pay enough attention to the rest of the test
and as a result, manage to try to pull out in high range
otherwise would be fine. Will see in 10 days!
.
Mario

Driving tests canceled for today!
Three weeks ago was same weather!
Feel myself even worser than three weeks ago when I fail.
If the queue for tests is about three weeks
there’s a big chance to get it next year!
.
Mario

Just like I said.
Booked for 3 of January!!! :imp:
Are they expecting better weather conditions than today?
Have nothing to say…
.
Mario :frowning:

Wooohooo
Am I the first one passer this year?
Class 1 ( C+E ) done on Wag&Drag.
3 minors only. Two blind spots and one uphill start
in 3rd instead of 2nd gear ( 310 bhp only).

Many many thanks to Brian from Aberdeen Training Services
and DSA examiner Neil Davies who’s doing his job properly!
And of course all of you’s for advices what we, wannabees can get over here!

DCPC Mod 4 to go, but that’s another story.
Just before Christmas got permanent contract with Royal Mail.
Nope. Just a Postie with van. Well paid (8.7 p/h year later 9.7 p/h).
Couple of my friends get less on Class 1 :open_mouth:
Later on 7,5t or 12t then Class 1. No rush. Even if it takes 10 years.
Looking around various jobs, I realize that that’s the one for me.

Once again.
Thank’s for such a great forum!
.
Mario

Well done for passing the test. You wont do much better than R.M.just dont drive like a knob, they dont have a good reputation on the forum.

Congratulations zanfta and also you have landed yourself a nice job.

Well. Here I am!
As someone said “If you want to make him laugh tell him about your plans”.
Wasn’t planned to land a job till the end of summer but heard about a vacancy in the company where my friend works for many years.
Went straight in the doors and got an offer. Local and Trumping. Got an “induction” with my friend! Been sended round the country roads with some single file roads. Coupling/uncoupling much easier than on Wag&Drags. No prob at all.
99% deliveries are 90 degree blind reverse :open_mouth: so been reversing in “impossible” places straight away as a training. Friend was happy if I get in with fitst attempt. No shunts  as majority of deliveries/collections are on the busy roads. Next week out as buddy. Happy as hell
