Thanks Robert. I think that photo was from a Commercial Motor article…would love to have the original print though! I’ve got a couple more from the same article.

What truck are you driving now Mark? I see there are a few new Coolchain FH Volvos running up and down London Road ?

Maybe post a couple of picture of your latest truck when you have time

Hi Ringrose…here’s a couple of photo’s of my current motor…the new Volvo’s you’ve seen are not based at Teynham but re-load out of here when their in the area.

Very smart Mark! Thank you.
Next up will be the updated wavey line livery I guess. How do you find the Scania ?or do you miss the Volvo ?
Will keep my eye for you.

Harrier Express’ “trial” livery. Not too sure about it myself. I like it but I think I prefer the white and blue.

That looks like a ex norman irvine motor from morpeth northumbria…

It’s an ex Alan Firmin motor, but it does look a bit A&RJ Wood. I remember Simon saying a while back that he used to like the old A&RJ Wood livery. I don’t think he’s continuing with these colours though, the new Volvos are in the old blue and white livery.

Hi Ringrose, to be honest I preferred the Volvo (and the Mercedes) but the Scania’s are ideal for our work. I’m on my second Scania now, we only had the 13’ reg’s for 18 months and now got the 63s. My boss thought it would be amusing to give me OCD due to the fact I spend so much time cleaning it!..

Hats of to you Mark you certainly look after the motors they always look good

Thanks, although its very disheartening when you work for a company who seem to have no pride in their fleet whatsoever!..most of our vehicles (although not all) are in a terrible state. Their only interested in whether their out earning money, not whether their clean or not, which is what its all about I suppose.

Thank you Mark, you look after the Scania and it looks well.
Yes I did note the ‘OCD’ registration! Makes it easier to look out for you now.
I see there is Truck show in Faversham scheduled for July are you going and taking your Scania?
Such a shame Coolchain appear to have little pride in their fleet, would not have happened when it was Woods.

Truckshow in Faversham?! When? Where? Spill the beans! Robert

The show in Faversham will be at Farming World, (I think 18th/19th July)…Ive been asked to attend but don’t think I will be. I don’t think it will be a big event but might be worth popping along if your in the area with nothing to do for a while. Apparently all money raised will be going to Kent Air Ambulance so another reason to call in.

Cheers old mate! Robert

Not too sure about the Merc either, the Volvo’s look much smarter.

When I first saw the Harrier Mercedes I thought it was still in it original owners livery…didn’t realise it was an ex Firmin motor. I think it looks ok.

Back to the original livery. Loading in the sun.

I heard today that the truck show in Faversham has been cancelled.

Mark, I have heard it is being moved to Leysdown!

The truck show in Faversham has now been moved to Leysdown On Sea

This was in the Sheerness newspaper this week re the truck show at Leysdown.

Looking through stuff I’ve posted elsewhere before, came across this Len Roger’s pic(I have his permission) which I note is a Kent wagon.
Oily

Another Wall of Dover pic has turned up on the Scammell thread this week. I’d forgotten they had artics too! Robert
