A&RJ Wood of Teynham. The Merc NGs I drove for a brief period for Woods were 1619s, 1626s and the slightly later 1625s. Robert
A friend of mine has family connections with Wall of Dover transport, and he asked me if I knew anything about the company. I do remember seeing their lorries but I cannot for the life of me remember what they ran. There’s nothing on Google. Does anyone remember Wall of Dover? Robert
Thomas R Wall…not quite sure what the connection with Martin Husk was but I’m sure someone will know.

That’s a good start! Thanks Mark. Robert
Main colour a brownish red? Platform body could be from Ellis of Five Oak Green.

Here’s a colour shot…
Great! Thanks. Robert
There was a white Coombe Valley (Martin Husk) FH Volvo and 4 axle low loader trailer in Dover docks yesterday afternoon. It was recovering a broken down matt black DAF 95/105 unit from the gate 2 and 3 holding bays. It had a * *** CVT number plate.
Thanks Robert. I think that photo was from a Commercial Motor article…would love to have the original print though! I’ve got a couple more from the same article.

What truck are you driving now Mark? I see there are a few new Coolchain FH Volvos running up and down London Road ?
Maybe post a couple of picture of your latest truck when you have time
Harrier Express’ “trial” livery. Not too sure about it myself. I like it but I think I prefer the white and blue.

Hmm, colours look a bit heavy to me.How do you get that paint job to match up to the white fridge trailers? Cannot see them matching myself.
Almost half a colour of A&RJ Wood !
