The days when you could be sociable at work and afford to go for a bevy on a night out, half of these blokes these days dont even no the names of the other lads in there own yard never mind lads at other depots and just put up with lay bys and ind estates,

i was trying to think howmany drivers i know where i work now out of 30 i know about 10 but only 6 speak english

IIRC My mates dad used to drive a F7 out of Wakefield. Sure the Wakefield branch used to have a single MAN 6x2? My mate used to always rave on about it when his dad got a shift in it so maybe was the flagship unit at the time for the Wakey drivers

Your mate was prob excited because the MANs were the only thing in the fleet with double bunks, he prob thought he was in for a treat.
