J&R Adams Newcastle

keithfgb:
Yes it nice to see them nicely liveried, everywhere I go people comment on the sign writing. I realise it costs but it is a good advert for the company and as everyone has commented it’s an old family haulage company with some pride in the fleet.

Well done to mr adams to keeping the fleet painted and signwritten - it may cost more than decals but being traditionally lettered - the truck will stand out more and be noticed by more people including potential customers - which is definately a good thing!. It is definately a dying trade - my dad Peter was a signwriter - maybe one of the best ones in the north east - he retired when vinyl decals started to gain popularity - im biased but traditional lettering will ALWAYS be better than vinyl. Again well done to Mr Adams for lettering his truck the traditional way !!

Lawrence Dunbar:
Well as far as I know they have 3 tractor units & one beavertail 6 wheeler, I havent heard any complaints from their drivers up to now, Regards Larry. Hers a photo of the beavertail one.
