In or Out- the EU referendum mega thread

labour ignored this along with so many people, they thought they could simply get away with branding anyone who complained as a racist or a bigot or small minded little englanders

labour is in bits now as how the hell is it going to win back the votes from all those northern areas that voted out ?
the mps in those areas do not represent there people anymore it was shown as the vote did not back up what the labour party were trying to pedle and they have seriously upset a lot of the northen people who say they will never vote labour again just like me, labour can not be trusted as if they got in they would want more eu, want to reverse what the people voted out for
they have looked down on the workers and treated them with utter contempt and this result has shocked them down to there ■■■■■■■■

how on earth are labour ever going to make it up to all the people they branded small minded little Englanders
i hope when election day comes ukip use posters all around the north to remind the people of just what the labour lot had said about them as i hope the people never forget

Well said couldn’t agree more. And to show the utter contempt Labour has for the democratic process and the people who voted for it David Lammy, MP for Tottenham, has requested the return of Parliament to stop this madness.

i had to laugh at some of the tweets along with that off white gentlemans wished to get parliament to vote against the decision
peter hitchins tweet was a great reply

It matters not a jot to the argument of you ■■■■■■■■ about the losing side still moaning.

It matters a lot bearing in mind the historic examples of where such a clash in ideology usually leads to.Feel free to regard the bar for Federation as the same for Nation and to look the gift horse of the out vote in this case in the mouth.

While where you stand seems bleedin obvious.Like Dolph if you want to live in Juncker’s Communist utopia zb off and live there. If not then you do whatever it takes to save your nation.Which includes the ( justified ) double standard of refusing to accept the idea of anyone voting the country out of existence and giving it over to people like Juncker,or at least setting a high bar for them to do it.That means in this case telling the remainers to accept the vote which we’ve all luckily been given.

Thereby stopping the argument escalating further and which otherwise history shows generally doesn’t have a happy ending. :unamused:

You’re a dinosaur.

The sooner you’re extinct the better I think.

there is still life in this old dinosaur yet

i hope you can understand just how really happy and free i have felt since the result and i hope it eats you up to the point you wish i was dead again. this is indeed how wars start and how people who believe with real passion on there side what is right and wrong, both can not be right but what sorts it out ?
balance is what sorts it out give and take and in this country we are a very tolerant nation indeed we have given and given and given even to the point were we put others ahead of our own kind
i dont think the Irish or Scotland are any different from an Englishman who wants what is best for his own country yet for some reason it it seen as so so wrong if england wants to be england as its seen as racist instead of nationalism

should we not watch the football any more or shout out as loud as we can for England ? should we instead shout out loudly come on multicultural players ? so as we dont cause offence ?

You missed the point where I said I voted out too then :unamused:

There is nothing wrong with feeling pride for your country, there is everything wrong with asking what someone who looks different to you, is doing in/for your country.

If there was any player in the English football team, born in another country, or from a different religion, I’d shout just as loudly for them if they felt English enough to play for their adopted country.

Like I said, you are a dinosaur, and it’s because of views like yours their is so much vitriol surrounding the result of this referendum.

funny thing is we have just had a vote and won that vote and you say i am out of touch with the real world ? one of us is living in dream land and its not me as the vote out proves

Who are we talking about?

You’re not going to feel so happy when you realise/find out that this vote won’t result in people being deported!
As from what I can gather, that’s what you seem to think is going to happen…

Exactly Beeze, he’s just too daft to see it.

no were have i said people will be deported but some have been reported in the news that there thinking of leaving as they dont feel welcome here anymore and i wish those people a safe trip when they go back home, i hope they take there family back home with them to but that is just me on that issue

the fact is we will have a points based system were people will still be able to come here to work but based on there skills they can offer our country, they will not be able to bring in there family’s and aunts / uncles / step brothers / sisters etc until they overcrowd areas. that sort of thing will be over with and over time many years balance will start to be restored. so no one will be deported but the doors will be closed to all that sort of nonsense that has been allowed to happen over so many years

If you are having a go at me, then no, I do not want a 2nd vote. As I said, I was PROUD to serve my Country and Queen.

As I understand it Parliament has been in recess from 15th til 27th June. So theyre due to return for a new term tomorrow. Will it be like coming back after the school hols? All shiney smiley faces after a good time away? Who will be first with "What I did in my holidays"? Wholl be the first to speak out of turn? Wholl be first to get a warning from the Head Prefect (Mr Speaker)? Wholl be first to call for a vote of “No Confidence”? Will anyone do a Tarzan Heseltine and swing the mace?

Driver-Once-More:
to serve MY COUNTRY & QUEEN.

To all those who wanted “IN”, hold your head in shame! We live in GREAT BRITAIN and NOT EU.

How many of you “IN’s” have a veterans, or Afghan, or Falklands, or, well, any medal? Not many I’ll bet, … actually probably NONE. Now stop all this carp and let’s rebuild OUR COUNTRY.

Rikki, please pin this and lock.

What do you base that opinion on exactly.
I would bet there are many ex military who voted to stay in, it has no relavence to the point anyway. :unamused:
I reckon it’s you that is talking ‘‘carp’’ mate…as well as crap.

There is nothing wrong in saying that ‘the numbers’ and ‘concentrations’ of ‘different’ immigrant communities have reached the point where they are affecting the demographic fabric.Such as voting for ‘their own’ in sufficient numbers to produce distorted election results based on nothing more than ethnic self interest.

Nor is there anything wrong in saying that a small Island with a population of 65 million people doesn’t need more immigrants.Especially when the numbers in question make the indigenous community foreigners in our own country. But that is of course exactly what the world without borders socialist zb wits want. :unamused:

will there be anyone left to turn up as there dropping like flys ?

many of them should be standing down as they didn’t represent there people with there in views. they were elected to represent the people of there areas and so many of them failed to listen to what the voters were saying in there area instead they tried to con or force the voters to do what they wanted the voters to do so they really should stand down in my eyes

Evil8Beezle:
Are we a little bitter?

Bitter? Well, yes I am, but then I am a groovy European kinda guy that very much enjoys my freedom to explore the continent. It depresses me to think that we may be heading towards a situation where we need to apply for visas and deal with border crossings.

Certainly every Out voter is not xenophobic/racist but they share their victory with many who certainly are.

i wish to say a fond farewell to all the polish who are packing there bags as we type and to all the familys of other ethnics that now feel unwanted here i am sure as they pack up to leave we would want to thank them all for there contribution they have made to our welfare state

The result has legitimised these repulsive views and they are feeling emboldened to bring to them to the surface, to the streets of our country. Have you heard about the leaflets being put through doors of Polish people in Huntingdon saying Goodbye Polish Vermin. ? OK you have to treat these thing with caution as there is a lot of misinformation but I am dismayed that the atmosphere has come to this.

This referendum has polarised the country like never before and I know where I stand. If it came to it I would be helping to stop those guys marching down Cable Street as my relatives did back in the day, and not marching with them.

You were wrong in 1936 and you are wrong now.

Take no notice of desypete’s views mate, no ■■■■ else does.
I was an out voter, but I certaily do not share his narrow minded opinions on this subject.

well said Rob… not every out voter is racist/xenophobic…but every racist/xenophobic person voted out i reckon

Personally I think this is the start of a major shake up of domestic politics. Jokers like David Lammy have no place in a new political era. They will fight tooth and nail to hold on to their undemocratic seat on the gravy train. First past the post isn’t a democratic enough system, and hopefully the referendum has shown it up for the sham it is. Personally I think any europhile mp who’s constituency voted out, should give up their seats

Yep, all he does is give the majority a bad name!
No way would I be joining anything to try and push EU citizens out of Britain, and I’d be joining the opposition to that in a flash! :imp:

Eight MP’s have so far resigned from the Shadow cabinet following Hilary Benn’s sacking following his coup attempt.

You have to love the Labour Party:

We must have democracy for the people of this country - as long as it’s the democracy we agree with.

Sulking that they’ve lost the support of the very people they are going against. The logic and arrogance of europhile, undemocratic new labour really amazes me :open_mouth:

I thought it was 1 sacked and 7 resigned?

I voted out and I think in the long term it will have been the right decision.

I do hope it eventually leads to better immigration control, but I’m certainly not against immigration, we are going to need inward migration for the foreseeable future and I see no problem with that. As for the migrants currently here who are working and contributing, as far as I am concerned they are as good as anyone else and welcome to stay. We are not a racist, sexist or homophobic society and I hope we never are.
