As a Brexiter you want to stay in the EU as long as possible?
That’ll show 'em!

We should take as long as we want, and if they are not happy with that, they can take the contract that allows us to take our time (that they created) and use that to dry their eyes!If other members are forced into referendums by their electorate, I can only see this strengthening our position on an exit deal.
As for fishface, you’ve got to love her. Does she honestly think the EU gives a rat’s arse about Scotland?
First you want to speed it up. Now you want to slow it down. Policy now being driven by Bucks Fizz?
You think we are in a strong position bargaining position now? We just voted to leave the club. I admire your confidence that the rest of the wold think so much of Britain that they will do anything to keep us happy, but I think if you ever stood outside of Britain and looked at us the way Johnny Foreigner sees us you might find it looks a little more like misguided arrogance.
Why are you so keen on British independence but rubbish Scottish independence? What is the difference. They want out of “The whole rotten con” of the United Kingdom. Being governed by a remote gov in Westminster. How is that different to Uk wanting out of EU?
Where did I say I wanted to speed it up?
Where did I say that the rest of the world think’s so much of Britain?
As for Scotland, they already had their “once in a lifetime” vote, where we haven’t until now, so not really comparable. And neither are our economies, or what we bring to the table in being part of the EU. How accessible is Scotland to mainland Europe mate?
But continue to feel free to jump to conclusion about what I say/said…

Oh yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying, not!
Are we a little bitter?
I’m just saying doing it right and don’t let the EU push/rush us…
What Beez is saying is " Let’s now accept the result and take a careful and measured approach on how to best serve the UK ".
Which in my opinion is the sensible and intelligent way to deal with the issue.

2 years from now and billions of £ later, we are fully out.
General Elections 2020, and Lib Dems are in with a mandate for rejoining the EU. Or maybe a more mainstream party?
WOW !
It does put a smile on my face. Well, no more of a scary manic grin really. Im sure a few experts out there will say it
s impossible. Just like the out vote was impossible.

Will there be a EU to go back into. IMHO, us leaving will put this entity out of its misery.
Where is the money for future Euro bailouts going to come from?
Article 50 says 2 years I believe.
So from saying “we want to negotiate exit” we have 24 months to reach agreements. That is what is in the Lisbon Treaty which we signed. So after 24 months that which isnt agreed isn
t agreed. So no pressure then, negotiate exit, whilst we simultaneously negotiate new treaties with all the countries we currently have agreements with THROUGH the EU.
Maybe we should get some high quality negotiators in? Offer them good pay from our tax coffers. The “exiteers” say the East Europeans have got a good deal from the EU, so maybe get a few of them here to help us?

Valid points. A can of worms or herd of cats would look well organised compared with the next few months/years!

“Cougars Crave Kittens”?
Evil8Beezle:
Well the crybaby count is now up to 3.1 million, which i think is hysterical!
To me it shows how many stupid ‘remain’ voters we have in the country, and don’t understand democracy at all…
To be honest it also makes me mad, as what if the tables were turned?
What would they be saying about ‘out’ voters who wanted a second referendum because they didn’t get the result they wanted? But it’s just playground stuff really isn’t it, Best out of 3, Best out of 5, Best out of 7, etc.
Let’s just keep going until I get the result I want!As for anon84679660, you were born a little late and in the wrong country mate, as Joseph Goebbels could have used a man like you!
Yeh ok, I agree, but if the 3.1 million are (as we are being led to believe ) among the high echelons of the country’s intellectual intelligentsia, and in high places, and us Brexits are the uneducated lowly great unwashed, who do you think will have greater influence in the future for a potential u turn…quite alarming if you consider it.
Also Herr Kloss is starting to get on my tits as well.

Wonderful !
For such a serious subject its throwing up so much unexpected humour! And I don
t care what side anyone is on, surely being British involves the ability to laugh at ourselves?

Apparently it’s already being investigated, which isn’t a surprise really…
All you need to do is set up multiple email addresses and to mask your IP address.
But obviously fair honest and democratic people wouldn’t do that, would they?
I do hope those that have get a knock on the door!

i wish to say a fond farewell to all the polish who are packing there bags as we type and to all the familys of other ethnics that now feel unwanted here i am sure as they pack up to leave we would want to thank them all for there contribution they have made to our welfare state
i dont know how we will cope with the shortage of workers, who knows maybe the 2 million or more unemployed might get a job ? maybe zero hours contracts will have to go as firms will need staff full time instead of laying them off when its a the quiet time with no income ?
just how will it all pan out ? one thing is fur sure its not going to be any worse than it is right now for many people who have been born and bread here who might now get a fair bloody chance in there own country

As I said the bar for a vote to give the country away to a bunch of closet Communists needs to be set a lot higher than to save it.
That’s assuming it is actually even possible to accept the idea of a country voting itself out of existence.Especially when it means being ruled by zb’s like Juncker.
The latter of those being what I was referring to.But I guess you knew that.In which case a vote of more than 50% has removed the need for that question anyway. But since when did zb Bolsheviks ever give a zb about the democratic process anyway. In which case this is an issue about opposing ideologies and it probably isn’t ever going to be settled by voting as we’re seeing now with the remainers still refusing to give way.Which just leaves the question as to where you stand on the issue of Federation v Nation.Especially when the ‘Federation’ in question is based on the ideology of people like Altiero Spinelli.
As for the chances of making the vote stick without a real Nationalist agenda to do it.As opposed to ideologically Federalist Cons, masquerading as Nationalists,I doubt it.
In which case what happens in France now is arguably more important in that regard.Being that the FN will be guaranteed to do the job properly given the same 52% vote.
