Idiot Motorcyclist

Take a look at this idiot on the Cat & Fiddle
All he thinks about is retrieving his camera after he comes off the road.
Nothing is mentioned in the article about overtaking on the double white line’s for which he should be prosecuted.
These are the sort of idiots out for a blast over the moors we have to put up with every day.

The muppet needs banning for life!

Hanging is too good. BRING BACK THE DEATH SENTENCE

Retrieving the camera is the first thing i would do, there’s good money in crash videos!

Seriously though he missjudged speed entering the corner then used the front brake which caused him to go straight. He should’ve learnt a lesson and no doubt be a better rider for it.
Not really a fan of riding fast i much prefer touring and seeing the scenery.

He got carried away and screwed up. He admitted his faults openly.

No one got hurt.

Give him a break!

If he does it a second time then he is an idiot.
Lets hope his brush with the grim reaper inspires him
to make some adjustments to his riding style.

Says a lot for the bikers safety gear.

Clean underpants required for the car driver, too

Interesting comment

Yes no one got hurt this time but do you relise the A537 between Macclesfield and Buxton is the most dangerous road in the country.

Crashes on this 7½-mile (12km) stretch in the Peak District National Park equate to four fatal or serious collisions for every kilometre over the past five years.

No sympathy for this sort of organ donor when they get creamed!

Trouble is he took the lead but was really a follower.

I have recovered lots of bikes from The Cat and Fiddle, usually in bits!

“All the gear, no idea…”

Ok after a watch of that video I can safely say there was no reason whatsoever that at the speed he was doing he couldn’t have got round that corner without ending up on the wrong side of the road. I’m curious did he just not bother trying to put a bit of lean on it.

THIS TIME
Hope his insurance company refused to pay out too , riding like a nob :unamused:

That video sums up for me everything that’s wrong with bikers. Every body assumes it’s easy to ride fast because modern machines are ludicrously fast in a straight line. Few learn however how to go round corners, this guy clearly hasn’t.
I’ve had my share of big bikes, I raced at club level on a 400 so I think I can say I know the importance of corner speed. It’s easy to twist your wrist in a straight line but not quite so easy to keep it nailed in the bends. This bloke clearly doesn’t.
He’s learned from his mistakes which is good thing. He could quite easily have paid a higher price.

  1. im a biker - advanced instructor
  2. hes a muppet! with his own video evidence the police are investigating and he will surely get done for dangerous riding
  3. Ive ridden that road and its not that bad, but, muppets who think they are Barry Sheene come a cropper mostly due to inexperience and running out of talent - not road!
  4. he is lucky to be alive!
  5. videos like this give bikers a bad name, if more invested in some training instead of stick on hair for helmet, fancy brake levers/footpegs or race cans, things would be better, but sadly its not seen as cool enough.

Lucky boy. He needs a refresher on road positioning for entry and exit for corners. He is riding as if he is on a track.
I am a biker and lorry driver, no expert, but even i can see his riding ability is below what his wrist is doing.
I bet the people in the car are relieved, imagine if he had hit them, one more fatality.
