We get £27 n/o, £2 meal allowance and parking paid but have never claimed for that as I can’t stand the places. Too noisy at night, much prefer farmers yard, lay-by or trading estate in that order.

If you are a mobile worker (even a night worker) you can claim £2.00 per shift meal allowance.
This is claimed from your employer as a tax free allowance (just like night out money).
Your employer does NOT have to give you this allowance if they don’t want to !
