Sorry to hear about the boiler, i will learn 1-1 for 4 hrs, over 5 days, 20 hrs in all both springate and a-class offer this, metro wanted it all day a bit much for the grey matter i think.
Yes 4 hours per day sounds about right, I think anymore than that would be a bit testing when you’re learning. Was there any difference in cost for doing 1-1 with Springate rather than 2-1?

Hello guys
I am interesting about the class 2 driving license and I would like to ask if you heard about this company “HGV driving training centre”.
Did anyone heard of it or had any experience with them?
Thank you in advance
Look like a broker to me but there is an easy way to find out if they are a genuine school - ask to go to them and meet the instructors, see the vehicles then ask for a driving assessment before you pay any money - if they can do that then they are not a broker
Rog is right. Broker. They are also part of Easy as HGV, The LGV Training Company and Surrey & Hants. Well separate companies that are owned by the same Director/s. Save time and money and just go direct to a local company in your area. Rog is also right about visiting the company and not parting with any money over the phone. Here is a 5 minute video on 5 tips on how to avoid a broker.
Im looking for reliable CLASS 2 (Cat C) driving school in East London (or near).
I already made some research, and find those below.
Please let me know if its any fake, cheats, or brokers behind…
I called them all, and ask about prices, and what they offer.
They told me prices including VAT, 20hours course with test, and fee, also CPC mod2,4 including. They told me via phone no any other charges to pay.
Anybody had some experience with them?
So, tell me what you know/think about them:
Newbie here just looking for a bit of advice and knowledge.
I’m ready to book my Cat C practical training and I’m trying to get a bit of a steer on the best training provider around the South Cheshire area, I’m looking to get this booked asap so I can get on to C+E and get moving with a slight change of career.
I already have Module 1,2 & 4 in place.
Your help/advice/knowledge & experience will be much appreciated.

I don’t know any of the companies you’ve mentioned above but none of th em look like brokers.
Some of the companies you’ve mentioned above give free driver assessments so arrange two or three to see how much training they think you will need, you’ll also get an idea of how well you’re going to get on with the trainer.

Have you got your provisional licence yet ?
Hi!
Yes, I have provisional licence, also pass the Theory + hazzard awareness test, and medical test of course.
Now due to enroll a course.
“national driving centre” is the cheapest, in Croydon from this list, they say on website “We are not an agency!” - should I belive that so?
Do you think should I visit 3-4 driving school just to see them site, and make sure they have cars, not just an office, and after making decision?
Or should I enroll for a free assesment drive with the cheapest (National Driving Centre) school?
Hi all ive just signed up today im based in Shaw near Oldham just north of Manchester im trying to find a really good training provider as when my passed my car license i didnt get class 2 so have to go through the test unfortunately before i can go on to C1+E
Im trying to find a decent company who has a good reputation near me rochdale oldham etc
Im not doing it to get a driving job out of it as ive just come of a lengthy ban so a company wouldnt accept my license for at least another 7 years
Just want to have the category on my license so when i do my car trailer license i can legally tow caravan and car at higher train weight so if stopped whilst towing i be covered
Due to weight and size of the towing vehicle and caravan attached with the category C2 license i will be covered
Any help in this matter of finding a reputable company in my area would be great
I did have lessons in past but failed twice due to keep being changed into different cabs and on test day on last test the gearbox kept locking up
The examiner wasnt happy as i wasnt either and the company who i used in manchester certainly wont be going back to
So yes once again all your help would be appreciated
Kind Regards
Kirk

You seem to be well confused on the licences
A LGV C licence will not give B+E or allow you to tow anything more with your current B licence than you can already
Many caravaners tow on a B licence so what exactly do you need to tow and with what?
I Need vehicle GVW and caravan MTPLM to see if it can be done on a B only licence
Hi thanks for your reply no im not confused about license im going to do my car tow license then go on to class C license as the combined car and caravan come to more than 3.5 tonnes and when i did go in for my class C license as discussing towing with the tutor i mentioned the car and caravan so gave him the details of both and he said if you get stopped they will take the caravan of the car as your B license with ability to tow a caravan exceeds the gross train weight or something
At the time was doing the class C 2 license as wanted to work the industry but since then got a lengthy ban so doing it just to cover my self with the license the caravan loaded is 1800 kilogrammes and the car is over 2000 kilogrammes so already im over appperantly on what can be towed on a car and trailer license
Id love to get into the haulage indusrty but due to my ban wouldnt get touched for another 8 years ive been told well 7 at least
Want to drive cranes for a living but need a C1 plus trailer so no rush for another 6 years at least with that one
