I,m not sure if Sharples have sold the lorries or not, I will call in their yard and have a word with Matt in the garage, he may have some pics. I know they have brochures and handbooks going back to the old days on vehicles they have owned. I would imagine they have pics as well. Don,t know if Miss Sharples would lend me some to scan or not, only way is for me to ask.

used to drive for mc wilson hereford started on 7.5ton bedford tl untill class1 had an E14 ERF. also worked for Ross Roadways at Whitchurc for 5 years my dad drove for them also for 26 years.Ross roadways bought out HS WILLIAMS from ross on wye they ran ERF and FORD TRANSCON and SA STRATO later on. steve nash now runs his own wagon, does a lot of work on the continent he used to drive for ARS trsnsport in burcott road

Hi Graham,I run my own Artic on General Haulage still do quite a bit of local work in around Hereford/Leominster but things have got tighter regarding the local stuff now,one paticular haulier is trying to finish us off,good luck to him I wouldnt want his lot,so I`m doing more stuff away from home now,out all week much of the time,I aint complaining tho!!!

How many lorries did H L Robinson run, seemed to be quite a few. They used to come up to Kington to Passey Nott who my Dad drove for. I also saw them about when I was driving.
