Here is that blue scania that comes in.It always looks clean and tidy. And it just stands out without the need of 20 spotlamps on it.

Hi Tony,
That Scania belongs to Rob Stuchbery from Leominster, he used to run a six wheeler tipper out of Strinds/Dolyhir quarries for a few years.
Cheers Dave.
He did say if he gets home tonight he’ll take a look.
I hope he likes it.

Hi Graham,
Don’t see many of there lorries on my travels, only get pics when my other half is with me,she uses the camera, she has got it down to a fine art taking pics of wagons coming the other way. If we see a Dairy Crest lorry we will have a go.By the way it was Tonyb70 who took the Scania pic,all credit to him.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Fin,
Good to see another couple of well known hauliers from Herefordshire on here, strange coincidence that a lot of Herefordd Hauliers ran red vehicles,John Bevan,Ryland,H L Robinson to name a few.Would imgine Mervyn Thomas is the biggest private fleet in Herefordshire now, even though some are based in Radnorshire.
Cheers Dave.
Hi Dave
Keep finding a few more, how are you Dave

Never heard about that one Fin,good pic. I put a Bedford TK of Clarence Griffiths, wIth 10ton of lime in a ditch down a lane between Kimbolton and Leysters back in 1969,only broke the front winker, she had two tracters to get her out, that was after we shovelled half the load off into the spreader.
Cheers Dave
I suppose i`ll always be a tipper driver
Hi Fin,
Bet you had some stick off John Minton.
Cant really remember what happened Dave that

The same with me Fin,one minute I was ok,the next the hedge was coming to meet me,mine was in on the drivers side, you only have to touch the grass and it pulls you in. Its happened to most lorry drivers who use country lanes at one time or another, quite a few go in the ditch on the main drag.
Cheers Dave.
I dont suppose itll be the last time Dave but there that
s part n parcel off the job when your on b roads 70% of the day
Hi Fin,
Thats the thing with your job, delivering to farms and out of the way places, suppose these mini bulk tankers are useful on your type of work for the tight access to some cottages,to deliver heating oil.
Cheers Dave.
