HELP NEEDED NOW....PLEASE

I have just been pulled by the servicio de minones(spanish vosa) and it turns out that a previous driver had driven this unit without his card in!!!So i have been parked up in a truck stop and served with a immobilisation order, and fined £3301 euros, now they either want cash which is very hard to get that amount from any bank,or a caution(bond■■?),can anybody help me asap and let me know how to pay this bond■■?

Ring the Tm of Co your driving for and get them to pay it ?
If they wont, lock it,walk away and get youre thumb out. :stuck_out_tongue:

Miniones :unamused:

not the Spanish VOSA at all they are a regional police force only authorised to operate in the region of Alava basically anywhere that has a postcode beginning with 01.
You say another driver ? I assume then that it is company vehicle and that you are an employed driver ?

basically on a technical basis the company is at fault for allowing a driver to drive the vehicle with out using the appropriate card, meaning the eventual fine would/should be passed on to the idiot concerned, but that is not going to help with your present predicament.

Basically the only way to get moving again is to pay and then appeal afterwards.

Methods of payment ? VISA, Mastercard etc, etc.
Another way is to go into the town find a post office and see if they are a Western Union agent get their offices Union Western office number and give it to the boss he can then wire the money to you via Western Union who if I remember correctly had a limit of a 1000 pounds per transaction so he may have to do it in 3 parts

The amount they fine people for minor infringements is ludicrous… 3300 euros■■?

Harry Monk:
The amount they fine people for minor infringements is ludicrous… 3300 euros■■?

all comes from the fact that people used to take the ■■■■ out of the Spanish for having such ridiculously low fines :unamused: so they just went the other way

smallp you have a pm read it

What is the reason for the one euro they always tack on to an otherwise round figure?

Harry Monk:
What is the reason for the one euro they always tack on to an otherwise round figure?

beginning at the bottom for what they consider little or minor offences tend to go up to 1500 euros, slightly more for the next scale of offences to 3000 euros and then to 5000 etc etc etc, every offence has a grade so basically they have given him the minimum fine for that grade of offence by fining him 3001 euros

Could it be that ‘they’ think he was responsible for the driving without digi card? If said period was between the ‘op’ finishing a shift & starting another they would have good reason for being suspicious & holding the vehicle.

Ross.

Fair comment but i presume the op would have contacted the firm he was driving for in the first instance and they gave him no joy? so he had to resort to the interweb for help.
Sound like hes driving for a shower of ■■■■ or hes got something to hide imo.

which does make sense, may also be that if they are used to being squeaky clean then they miss the experience of making mistakes and thus knowing how to solve them quickly, fortunately most of my life has been working for bandits so most of the tricks and tips have been long learnt

It’s not just fines though, last time I parked at Ondo, it was 10.01 euros for parking.
