I just expected the usual rant over the police being incompetent and expecting Joe public to do their job for them. And how there isn’t enough actual police on the roads etc etc.

I actually agree with him, but he does come across as a bit of a stuck record with it. [emoji1787]

Do keep up at the back and try not to start a new thread FFs :unamused:

People have been reporting anti social van and lorry drivers for years. We had/have Co. names and phone no’s plastered all over our trucks. Now with mobiles, everything is all to easy.

Love that’s a rather strong description. I mean apart from being on here I don’t actually know you from Adam just what you write, and vice versa.

I was merely surprised you didn’t go off on your usual rant for a change against the incompetent police force.

Monday is my designated ‘Non rant day.’.
You will need to wait for sometime between Tues and Sunday.
Stay tuned. :sunglasses:

These two videos are absolutely classic howlers.

Sounds like an extension of operation Snap which encourages the general public to send in dashcam footage of motoring offences. Some of the punishments given out seem harsh too as all the footage lacks context which a physical officer can take into consideration. My biggest issue with this sort of thing is the majority of the general public, have consistently shown they have absolutely no comprehension of driving a truck and our actions out on the road. An ex colleague of mine almost fell fowl of this. Only because he was proactive, provided dashcam footage of said complaint, and contacted the police personally did he avoid being dragged through the legal system.

Seems the the Police want us to do their job for them!!!

■■■■■■■ good job , the amount of parcel delivery drivers who think it’s ok to abandon there vans straight across my drive when delivering to another house beggars belief , there plenty of room to park not causing a obstruction but they can’t be bothered
, too idle to walk a few yards extra
The amount of times I’ve had to tell them to move the bloody things
I’m with the locals / coppers on vans ( mainly these Amazon type ones ) , ticket the idiots

I’ve had Amazon Van’s outside my house, but for never longer than 2 or 3 mins…reason being these lads have to be like machines, to cope with the workload pressure, I’ve seen them SPRINTING with parcels under their arms ffs. :unamused:
One told me when there is no answer at a door they have to count to 10,.and just forget it, and rush on to their next job.
So he then jumps in his van after 2 mins, as if he’s making a getaway from a bank job..
I ain’t got a problem with them parking outside my house, they have plenty problems and stress without me adding to it by running out in the wife’s slippers and giving them grief.
Now they have the public ‘wannabe police’ to deal with thanks to the ■■■■ Old Bill. :unamused:

Does that count as a rant Simon?
I reckon more of a sympathetic social comment,.with a criticical sting in the tail at the end.
What do ya reck ?

It takes seconds to park the bloody van sensibly , just as easy as abandoning across my bloody drive , it’s a bloody small culdesac with about 30 houses , it wouldnt take more than a few sec,s to get from one end to the other , parking sensibly would take seconds , park bloody sensibly then run a bit faster if need be , but stay away from my house
I
Pay c.tax to have unfettered access too it
I’m just surprised you don’t deliver the bloody parcels for the poor souls !!!
