Was in Lydney earlier…
Hi all yes Tibey Bradley still runs a Daf six wheel tipper that Stewart ? used to drive and a four wheel FL Volvo tipper he drives both of um, depending what job he’s got on. he’s got all his own work, not reliant on the quarries. He parks them next to Roger Marfells yard, I should know I live next door!!!
That Volvo F7 looks familiar; I’m sure I saw it years ago either at Chipping Sodbury quarry, or Johnsons’ siding at Wootton Bassett?
Bazztrucker,You must live at Denehurst.? Stewart,Bradleys driver used to be a relative of mine.

The blue and silver one could be mistaken for Bond Trucking
Those F7’s have been there for years.

Well I haven’t seen him about to ask and I don’t know about the Atki’s. When I read about them being at Rogers, I popped by hoping to see them…But alas, not to be. I saw an ex Richard Read ERF at Lydney trading estate the other day and went down the other day to find out more and it had gone not surprisingly…Not to worry

Well I got that one wrong! Eric used to have one of the earlier Rolls powered tractor units.Myself and Ron Hayward used to take it in turns to change the injectop pump on it.After one such occasion I went out with Eric,s driver to test it.Guess what? He had come of a 6lxb and still drove it the gardner way,100 revs change up We swopped seats and I drove.Dont remember it coming back for another pump.Keep them Rollers revs up.
