Sorry, but what scale do you use to rate “busy”?
If you’re coming from the south on the M74, you could grind to a halt at Larkhall, J7.
Jesus H Christ dozy…the more of your posts I read, the more I’m convinced you’re on wind up! If not then you’re thick as mince
Bit more info and maybe i would be able to help you maybe were you are going to deliver.

Was this Dozy on his trip to Glasgow?
Maybe if dozy really was a driver.

Yip. He didn’t want to risk getting stuck in the Glasgow rush hour traffic and run out of time,so thought it best to stop in the central reservation for a 45.[emoji3]

A lot of the places I go have red routes , double yellows , bus stops etc and can take like we’d morning 1 3/4 hrs to cover 12 miles , so you need to try and get your timings right .
It was only the second time into Glasgow , 1 St rush hour and the last thing I want is too get therev too early as there may be earlier trucks there so get sent away , parked on double yellows or leave it late and get stuck going in and have some irate construction waiting for me .
Got there just about right though , so won’t need to ask next time as now know how land lies
Passed that accident just after it happened, what a ■■■■■ mess they made of that nice new volvo.
But at least the wire rope seems to have done it’s job in preventing a head on with something northbound.

No mate I was hauling a frame for a tower crane
If it was it won’t be his fault.

Had a 45 at Hamilton services before venturing in so was fine for time , already done 2 hrs apx driving up from Carlisle so wasn’t risking it

Obviously not. It is a stupid place to put a wire fence.

He’s the wrong side of the wire rope. It’s done [zb] all in preventing a head on.
Pure luck.

So not only is the wire in a stupid place, it is no good as well…
Looks to me the wire has stopped him, I take that from the taut wire around his offside, I can only assume some monkeys cant see that
That’s a vapour trail.
