Very kind words - you’ll shame him into making an Ergo cab version to go with her!
Hello LB76, and everybody. Thank you this is one of the most enjoyable and interesting threads that I have ever come across. Too little is known about the early days, this is superb, and probably has opened a few eyes!! Cheerio bye bye.
I was awe struck the first time I saw an LBS 76 wagon and drag of Wyatts pull in B+W motors Derry st. W-ton, loaded to the gun holes I never saw Scania springs bent the opposite way! What a cracking machine it was !

Trev,I got a lift one night in one of FF’s AEC MK5 MMs with a drag,1961 it was, when I was in the RAF thumbing it home to Sheffield. It was the biggest wagon I’d ever seen, never forget it.
Hello all, Trev H , Derry St would have been tight for any waggon and drag! Shame about B&W, Jonathan B is living at Ballacraine now, good view for the TT. Cheerio.

It would be nice to think there maybe someone out there that could restore the old girl if it was still there.
Wonder if Willi Betz did own it or maybe just a contractor, shame to see it like that.

Hey Bill, no swearing now Trubrit used to pull Betz trailers in UK - hope he sees the above photo
It was defo a subby. Any Betz trailers in the country in
those days came under the auspices of Betz Nederland.
I’ll try and get some info…is it for sale per chance
That was owned by Bobby Martin who was fridge fitter and jack of all trades at Wyatt’s suprisingly for a jack 0f all trades he was master of his trade - fixing fridges , recovering wrecks and building stock cars! Unfortunatly Bob was very ill a few years ago but is on the mend.
Glad to hear Bobbys on the mend Bill, please give him my best regards next time you speak to him. Regards, Haddy.
