I saw that article too, what a load of old cobblers! Herbert Smith should have known better when he let his name be put to that!

Easy tiger… They were only confirmations of which magazine the article was in - not actual affirmations that the content was accurate.

…Never apologise for the ‘poor quality’ of a photo,

ANY image however dim, grainy, out of focus, dark, light or bits chopped off is a moment capured in time and the pictures that get posted on here are part of a time capsule we all cherish, and most of us wish we took more pics or had a better camera…hindsight eh!!

KEEP 'EM COMING

Cheers, Nick

Fully agree with Skandiahamn there Bill, I think a lot of my photos are crap but I’m sure when I learn to scan and put them on here they will be appreciated by plenty. Father Christmas brought me a new printer and I need a bit of tuition from my daughter and son- in- law.
By the way I really enjoyed meeting you last sunday, it was good to go over the old ( and better ) times. We will do it again before too long. Best regards, Haddy.

Definatly mate!

Hi LB 76,

I remember working on one of Wyatts LBS 76 drawbar outfits at B&W motors in Wolverhampton, I was amazed to see a banjo drive axle fitted to the draw bar with the diff removed and a blanking plate in its place, was this one you drove ? they always seemed to be well freighted to me !

I’d spotted the wipers on the middle one, I think it’s an H reg so older then the ones either side??

Jimmy McDonald had quite a serious accident with his F88. It was recabbed with the later version, if you look closely it gained electric wipers and a sun roof.

That explains it, as I remember it didn’t the post 73 cabs also have only one opening vent on the front where the earlier ones had 2■■
