To my knowledge there are no more than 5 Transcons left in Holland, that is apart from imported ones

Would put my money on CH any day .
right, so i have been given these pictures by a workmate and he said i can share them. these are from 1984, and if i remember rightly they were used on a ford tour where they provided the trucks, and despite being the biggest cab roger had ever been in, they were not allowed to sleep in them but were sent to a hotel every night! (on a later tour they had day cabbed cargos, and they had to sleep in them!!!)
a youthful roger at the wheel!!
what weight limit/congestion charge/parking restrictions!!!
hope these are of some interest
I just came across an old picture of the Team Zakspeed Racing Team who were running a Ford Transcontinental on their race transporter, not suitable for scanning, but someone may have a picture.

This was an old post from the Anglo Greek thread, talk of wanting 4k for it then, wonder if you can still buy Turboliner panelsâŚ

When I went to France to see an F16 last November there was a mint 385 Turboliner cab sat on itâs chassis with no engine or gearbox, itâd cost a good few quid to get it back here but I recon the cab couldâve been bought for a few hundred Euroâs.

I am not sure whether a cab transplant would be an easy option. My mate put the panels off a Renault 340 on this P reg one.
I think Chris Hooper had Renault panels fitted too
A comparison of the cabs

I know a few people that have fitted Renault âRâ cabs, some (Chris Hooper included) fitted R series foot brake valves instead of that stupid cable to the valve on the front of the battery box. I think the cab swap (especially given the condition of the one I saw) to a mint rust free example would bring the added benefit of the brake conversion doing away with âthatâ cable!!
If it were my Transcon, thatâs exactly what Iâd be doing with it but being the lazy git I am I bought a rust free Volvo to ârestoreâ.

Here is another one of an old acquaintance, this was parked across from his office aka The Ferryboat Inn at Boothferry Bridge. Unfortunately I cannot take credit for the picture, it is another brilliant memory from Kev Challo
I think Mick deals in Bull â â â â â or Ostrichâs now
