gazIF THIS IS REG EHJ706X IT’S PARKED UP IN A YARD JUST OF THE AI NORTH OF STEVENAGE.
not no more my freind we had it 4 nearly 8 years in our yard in biggleswade as u said just north of stevenage,we bought it when it finished work and lived with us spending most of its time shunting till it got diesel trouble and finished up parked in the corner for years till we got bored one day and decided to get it out and running again by which time chunks of rot were hangin off it,we sold it last year to a fellow dealer and he resold it and it seems to be changin hands qiuckly at the moment, trust me whoever takes on the job of restorin that thing is a brave man!, i have some pics of it with us and the day it left us which i shall add on here when i find them, had it been original we would of kept it but it was too far gone to do much with, sad i no but when u got 5 motors u cant finish u gotta let some go,1

This was an old post from the Anglo Greek thread, talk of wanting 4k for it then, wonder if you can still buy Turboliner panels…When I went to France to see an F16 last November there was a mint 385 Turboliner cab sat on it’s chassis with no engine or gearbox, it’d cost a good few quid to get it back here but I recon the cab could’ve been bought for a few hundred Euro’s.
Ross.
I think Chris Hooper had Renault panels fitted too
A comparison of the cabs

Don`t worry about it or the price it was advertised for any more mate. It has been scrapped as only bottom feeders/ time wasters wanted it for nothing so I scrapped it! It is no more!!

Unispeed from Lowestoft ran quite a few.
Heres the one my dad drove DBH271X1
I used to see a lot of Unispeed motors in Eastbourne, when we had a big Birdseye factory here. All went in mid eighties, I helped move it to Gloucester when I first started life on the road… Shame.

Fair comment Boris, thats what this forum is all about, personal opinions, but personally I like it, I don’t think they gone that mad really with side-skirts & super-singles, the paint job is smart but not over the top, its good that someone has kept one so tidy.
Regards Chris
