Hey, someone ever heart about an uprated version of the NTC340 (335) Transcon H34) for Italy.
It must have had 352 DIN hp.

Cheers Eric,

Hi Eric we had three of these I think they were a canceled order they were brought from Hendy Lennox.
They were long wheelbase had a smaller fuel tank spare wheels and deadlocks on the doors.
Regards Kev

Hey, Maybe this came from Italy too because of it high powered engine (4435), but the mudguards looks French. But the one I spoke about was still the one with the NTC 340hp engine, here I see it for an NTE 350 (which was up to date after the 340 first launch in Italy) with its 352hp. And by the way an Italian had an other braking system too.

Cheers Eric,

THOMAS BROS Murton Co Durham had white Transcontinental Bulker’s!

yes that’s the firm most of them converted into 6x2 rear lifts most of them in battleship grey what happened to them

Gthompson,

Yes Dad’s trucks used to indeed do Autocontex tilts to Berlin, was some years ago now ! around 83 it started and lasted a few years. Later changed into direct for Birkart. Typical load out was kitty litter for Berlin Zoo and reload with BMW motorbikes.
