I don’t think it is, Pete, or maybe a tiny bit, comparing the visible mudguard with the one behind it, but the cab is growing on me. I do like a ‘proper’ radiator, one of the things I missed on the Mk 2 Atki, and is that a fold down bunk at the back?

I’m not sure that any of them had girls’ names! You may be thinking of Stobart that only used girls’ names. Robsons have carried names since the 1920s. The ones I drove were Border Olympia, Border Brutus, Border Valour and Border Isis (two B-series ERFs, a DAF 2800 and a Scania P112). :wink:

“coomsey” That Foden is from an article in Foden news from 1968 about the Foden working at Peko Mines,Tennant Creek,in the Northern Territory.
