Not to many Foden four wheelers around with the Alpha cab.A nice tipper seen on the A5 near Oswestry.

YBW was scrapped but our workshop manager told me that he’s had an email from someone saying that ABW 36A, the basis of the Corgi model is still around in a barn somewhere. Condition unknown though.
hi muckaway i have a couple of photos of ABW 30A 8 wheeler are joe and david pearson found it on a farm in the hook norton area about 20 years ago i remember her coming in to barford in the 1970s was the driver mick he had anew guy 8 wheeler i think k reg

Hi Neil. Smiths used to move brewers grains out of Hook Norton brewery years ago so maybe someone bought it after seeing it work? It had a long life as Dad started there in '78 and he’s sure it was still there then.
Neil, are you aware of a farmer out Brailes way that’s bought several old Smiths lorries over the years? I delivered an R reg 3000 series 6wheeler which along with the other R reg and a P reg was said to have replaced several Bedfords…

Whats gone wrong with the photos on this thread ? they are twice the size of the screen on mine for some reason,anyone else got the same problem.
