The one I had was paraffin, method of lighting was to light pilot flame, pump up pressure until gauge went green then open main valve, if you opened the main valve before reaching green, flames would shoot up all over, Very Dangerous.

The truck i had to sell when i was short of money, it broke my heart at the time, really didnt want it to go, however i sold it to a feller called chris keen, who has already restored a couple to a very high standard, i dealt with chris a couple of times and he was the nicest fella i have ever sold a motor too, sadly i beleive he died of a heart attack, or something like that shortly after, he ran his own garage in or near evesham and i beleive that the garage continues on.I think it may still be there and possibly still signwritten with our name on it.However on the plus side, cos it broke my heart at the time, the misses let me have the scania when funds improved, eventually…

Still got the wife though !.Some you win, some you lose…
