Just beaware of van udens, the uk agent sorting the work is called james rose and shafted a lot of drivers out of a lot of money at nedexco. … funny really as some went on to van udens like lemmings.

James rose does like to try the " poor me , I lost money as well " card, but before nedexco went bang the loads were short on their overtime payments.

Its James Rose who has been in touch twice, think I will give it a miss after these comments just want a steady job without the arguments etc. Having said that he never phoned when he said he would

My advice for what it’s worth would be to get used to driving a left ■■■■■■ if you want to do European work…

Done 26yrs doing European with RHD had no problems up to now . Pullyns been in touch want a CRB they are saying it will take 6 weeks to get whats that all about ? so even if thats ok the job will be after Xmas

The CRB check for Pulleyns is what their customers request due to the high value loads.

Do you know if they are decent firm, they look ok

The pay is not the best but you get a nice Mercedes Benz and top trailer. The lad i spoke to on the ferry when at Madrid you get sent anywhere in Europe or outside Europe.
Six to eight weeks away.
No cooking allowed in the cab or cookers.
On your time off you may have to polish the aluminium wheel covers before tou go home for a weekly rest.
Greece.Turkey or any place.
Trailers have alarms and locks on the fridges. The drivers stay there for 30 years or more.

You have done 26 years driving trucks in and around Europe and you have to ask if Pullyens are a decent firm!!!

Like I said only ever drove for two companies both times made redundant ,know companies around Yorkshire area , thats why advertising services on here

+1 on that :unamused:

Did you never see Pulleyn’s fellas on the ferry/tunnel while you were running over to mainland Europe?

~ Craig

this was their original colour scheme

Used to see them all the time, never got to talk to them, always admired the trucks though, but trucks do not make a good company , used to talk to a couple of drivers from EM Rogers down in Milan and Ashford there trucks looked past there best but they said it was decent money but always pushing it

The reason i asked was that i spotted the ad and put it in the vacancy section so i was wondering if i possibly helped someone get a job that was all.

Yes I saw your post and sent my CV they replied two days later saying they are interested but need a CRB and other things which may take 40 days or 6 weeks as I said the time you do all that it will be after Xmas

When i applied for Pulleyn i paid the police £ 10.
For that you get a computer print out with all your past history.

Had a look on the Police site and it says upto 6 weeks , I know they look a decent company but do you know if they are

What is the pay like? Surely it’s got to be half decent for being away that amount of time? And why can’t you cook in the cab?
