takes me back too when i was a kid, and first started going in trucks, with a family friend, i was 13, mainly went too felixstowe, or tilbury, friday nights after school. it was in a cp ships 111 scania, think they then went onto become tracto’s, dunno what became of them after that, think they got swallowed up by one of the bigger boys.

I Remember CP Ships light blue Scanias i thinks when Tracto took them over Goodway took over tracto . Did CP Ships park in warley just off A127

CP Ship were at warley off the 127 which was the ranch when Davis Bros owned it it then become home off UCC George Davis and CP ships who had a tidy fleet of atkinsons all fitted with air horns then they changed to M.A,.N. and scania 111 around 1984 the added the yellow with the blue and renamed it tracto with scanias and mans got bought out by goodways then tat all got swallowed by Hanburys another 1 gone CP in its own right are still big to day but sub there work out instead

I Remember seeing these two companies in Harwich docks a lot sadly 1 of these companies have gone RT Steward

correct me if i am wrong but i am sure that Geo I Cooper were one of the first companies to get the new 2 series scania have any got any photos of RT Steward Geo i cooper GW Martin photos

Geo Cooper are still around, they got an old tag axle 113 with an even older triaxle skel on springs pulling short sea boxes out of Purfleet dock
