As far as I can remember that Harwich Express tug went to Neil Bomfords yard in Harleston, Suffolk when he sold the company.

Here’s a few pics of the trucks I had while I was working for them.

Started off with this, subbing for Securicor (now DHL).

Then went into this when I passed my class 1.

Then got this from new 6 months after passing class 1

Carna,
A while ago you ask about G I Cooper pictures, I’ll try and dig out a couple, I spent a few years running out of West bank (Ipswich) and took a few photos, one at Wrabness tipping Grolsh beer (June '85), I also remember taking one of Stewys 111s on the pad swapping boxes down at 10 shed about May '83, I’ve got the diary dates I just need to hunt down the pics. it could take a while!!

Carna:

I used to go to school with Stephen Lacy who is the grandson of the founder of lacy’s coaches they had an office in barking road East Ham the trucks and coaches ran out of River road Barking

Hi this was an old Geo Cooper of Maningtree Scania 111 I bought it off Ted Roberts of Scantruck at Purfleet in the early 80’s then traded it into Morville Trucks at Lutterworth for a brand new (Only new truck I ever had) 142m 388bhp in 82.
