As i see from some of your pics…I must make it clear…I’m only refering to the latest style Scania’s…55 plate onwards…the older type…are unacceptable to standards [zb]…(and some even come with wind-up windows )…
The new style has only two major faults…Traction Control…and take off speed…beyond that…minus a few minor faults they are spot on…The only other truck that offers possible competion is the Actros…(new style)…everything else is just second rate…but as you lot are Ruffty…Tuffty’s you just won’t understand these matters…any ERF trash will do for you lot…BUMS

Probably because ‘back in the day’ that’s all that technology offered and was all that was available. My father was one of the very people who drove these ‘basic’ trucks and lived like this, not because he liked it but because it’s all he knew and it put food on the table and I don’t take very kindly to you refering to him as an idiot. There is only one idiot involved in this topic and it’s the one you stare at every morning when you look in the mirror
As for being in your prime when you’re an old man, I think your probably right. Purely because, with your attitude, nobody will employ you for more than 10 minutes you total nugget.

Mate if you’re gonna moan about havin to put a tacho in behind the speedo, get a [zb] office job or sit on ur arse in you’r nice warm house and go on the dole. You can pretty much guess that most truck buyers thought the same as him even if they didn’t say it. No one bought them anymore hence they went !!!
