Have you read the review for Amazon reviews?
They often refer to different products or different suppliers.
.
Not heard of them before, buy looks interesting for pre cooked food. According to Amazon, the 1.5L is 23.3×16.6×11.6cm although the pics show it better.

The reviews seem to hold up, although you need to put it on a bit before you use it. Says 25 mins in Summer, or 45+ mins in Winter for 24v one. Added to my watchlist as it could name a change from sarnies.
Dringy the trucker did a review last year…also another trucker did one as well but can’t think who.But here dringys.

These where mentioned ages ago by our resident Blogger and in cab master chef, make sure when you order one, that you check which input voltage they are as they come in 12/240v and 24/240v versions. It was previously mentioned that its a good idea to put the food your heating up in aluminium foil takeaway containers, as this helps keep the lunchbox clean and aids conduction of heat
Great little gadgets, perfect for ready meals. Pop in an hour or two before you stop and boom, hot dinner at end of day
I reckon if I was still having long periods away from home, I’d go down the slow cooker route, they’re great put a stew in at beginning of day an just leave it on for your tea, a lad I know swears by his.
Only doing a max of 3 nights out a week nowadays, so it really worth me getting a one.

When I was a young Tractor driver/ drott driver, pastie/pie in tin foil, put on exhaust manifold in morning, hot by lunch time…
But thinks have changed, Sleeper Cabs are more or less standard, no more boards across the hump in the cab, proper air con, not draughty cabs, window washers are standard, mirrors on both sides, things have moved on.
Yep I’ve had mine about 6 months absolutely brilliant it only needs 30-60 mins to heat PRE cooked food as it’s a warmer.
You need to have a certain amount of fluid in the food ie gravy or sauce to steam / heat or Ur food will dry out.
I’ve had pasta, Chinese spag bol cottage pie even pie an mash.
I wouldn’t have it on for more than 2 hrs though.
I tend to put my meals in a 750ml takeaway plastic tray saves on mess especially if your away a few days.
If your gonna get one I suggest the 12v 24v and mains one yes all 3 power points covered then car truck and home or office.
The 750 plastic tray fits perfectly.
That’s beans tin Tom’s bacon and omelet. In that one ready for my lunch later

Yeah you put half your sweat an sour chicken in with half your spag bog give it a little mix and hay presto
Hmmmm ‘warming up’ chicken sounds a bit iffy
…is it warm or really hot as in a microwave?
Sounds like a recipe for a couple of days of ‘Ghandi’s reenge’ …that’s why he always was seen in a nappie btw.
Nowt worse when you’re away tramping.
Btw, has does anybody use Sharwoods Kung po sauce, it knocks the spots off sweet and sour I reckon,.a lot more spicy,.and if you add a bit of sweet chilli sauce in there…delish.

They don’t do hot at all, contrary to what people here say. It’s nothing more than a warmer for pre-cooked food and anything that’s dense takes hours to get even luke warm and even then it’s only round the edges with the stuff in the middle still cold. They are also tiny - don’t be deceived by the photos. Stick to a microwave or a traditional slow-cooker on your inverter.
As a dayman…if I take hot food to work,I use a soup flask.
