This is really bad news for us truckists.
Not only does bacon and red meat and all processed meat in general give you cancer,
(if you eat too much) and it’s linked to heart desease.
Ah well!
Anyway who can recommend a really good bacon bun?
My recommendation is the jet station coming out of Immingham on the A160.
The best I’ve ever tasted by a country mile.

When you cook bacon, you get lots of water out of it, it is the water that is the problem.
You see what I mean water is dangerous, especially if frozen.

Me and my mate were talking about this very subject today. He is a recently fallen vegetarian. We both agree that one of life’s greatest pleasures is a bacon sarnie made with buttered ciabatta bread. If you think that ■■■■ comes anywhere close to that I feel sorry for you, I really do!

Never said it did. But then we weren’t talking about bacon with buttered ciabatta bread were we? We were talking about the humble McDonalds bacon roll, which as bacon rolls isn’t bad. It isn’t the best bacon roll ever, but not the worst either…firmly middle of the road. Almost the Ken Bruce of bacon rolls.

Can there be a worse indictment of a bacon butty than to compare it to ken Bruce.
I have to say that the macs breakfast wrap is pretty good, and the coffee whilst not being anywhere near costa coffee standard, is drinkable.
Btw. If you have AA membership ie a card you will get 20% discount at costa/moto msa sites.
A keyfuels card looks quite similar if you show it to the person serving.
