Diecast Truck Models

erfguy:
I wonder what the paintwork and airbrushing cost on that outfit. Hell you would be afraid to take it out in case it got dirty. Eddie.

Imagine the polish job after a dirty winter :astonished: :astonished:

Mind when you study the artwork on it that will be where the majority of the money will be, but it would look well on your shelf Terry T eh. Eddie.

Here my collection
Mainly corgi superhaulers 1/64 scale
Yes I like stobart models

Got this one from a Bandag rep sometime during the 70s when the oringinal truck visited S J Barghs at Caton on a promotion tour, unfortunatly not diecast though.

These 3 are Sadler Tankers, Q8 petrol, and Stiller Transport. All finished up owned by the Stiller Group

I got a lovely IVECO in Ferrari colors, it was a gift from IVECO at one ■■■■ up or another whilst I was at TRUCK. Evidently it’s worth a fortune now.

Dave Young used to do reviews on models in T&D so Corgi sent examples for photos etc, we used to share them amongst ourselves, I had a few limited edition ones, including a Stobart FH that I believe is very rare.

I had some others from the manufacturers, these too are very rare. I gave them all away before I moved to Canada, my Dad got the IVECO, the rest went to friends.

Anyone been adding to their collection?

image.jpeg I have no proper models but have hundreds like these Siku and matchbox Lesney Dinky and corgi .

It’s not diecast but I built this a few years ago. Radio controlled with working lights and sounds.

Parked in front of a real one

This is a diecast 1/50 scale that I did. Wasn’t happy with how it turned out but I suppose it’s ok from a distance.

I bought a couple to paint into my colours, but don’t have the steady enough hand to do them :frowning:
