Hi jamie, no mate, ours is an A reg 6x2. Think this firm sold all their gear to Trailer maker and truck dealer Rothdeans, which is who we bought our motor from. Rothdean was only really interested in the trailers the firm had but got various ERFâs as part of the deal. Cheers for the pic though Jamie, been after some picâs of theirâs for ageâs, nice one
NZ JAMIE:
Gâday,
Hereâs a mob that have not been on here yet, this is the only time I recal seeing them, taken at Exeter services in 1990.
A to Z were only trading for a few years during the '90s, the owner passed away
Gâday,
Thanks for the info on A-Z Richard mate, that figgers why I only saw them once. Glad you like the Ace Tip pics Straight Eight, found another C Series mate, but again a four wheeler, thatâs all the pics of them that I have,Bubbs may have your motor on film.
Taken in Tiverton 1990.
Not shown this mob on here yet,I think they had a few ERFs,again taken in Tiverton lorry park 87-88.
I donât have many Parsons pics, smart mixed fleet with curtains, tippers and flats. A school mate of mineâs old man used to drive this one.Taken in 1990.
Cheers Jamie

Heres my only Ace-Tip pic
Cheers Bubbs.
Gâday,
Itâs nice to see some different H F Heard and Leeseâs Haulage motors, are they both still about?
I found another H F Heard pic,not the greatest quality,my early camera wasnât great at taking moving shots. It was taken at the bottom of the N Devon link road in 1990.
Another logger from Bowdens of Oakhampton, looks like a 301 with a load of fence posts, taken in the same spot as the H F Heard 300,but in May 1991.
This is the same motor that Bubbs posted before on this page, but I reckon itâs an earlier shot as in doesânt have the spoiler fitted, taken in their yard on a saturday morning in 1987.
Cheers Jamie
Referring to the Maggie running in Torridge colours AYA975X, it was an ex Langdons O/D motor who decamped in june/july 84 and started to pull for Torridge. I think it was Colin Wensley. I was on for Langdons then and drove AYA974X.
I think that R reg B series of M H West is still on the road, it passed me on the M5 near Taunton within the past 12 months, making it over 30 years old.
A thank you to NZ and Bubbs, cheers for the ACE-TIP pics lads. soon as computer is fixed i will post some pics of our old C series,
Regards, Chris

I saw it heading toward St.Ives last summer with,i think,a Moffet Mounty (or simillar) on the back.
