Hi wrighty on the B9176 over Struie and that spot with the Kyles of Sutherland (Inner part of the Dornoch Firth) in the background, taken a few snaps there.
Oily
Heyup Wrighty first its good news that Alice is well on the mend eh, as for the weather we just have to ■■■■ it up as we cannot control that & I look at the charts most days and dont envy what you have had to put up with up your end and further North in Scotland, it just makes day to day chores a lot harder. Saw my man who I get me straw off last weekend and he did not get much again down to the wet, may have to look else ware for mine, cheers Buzzer

Just been up to Tracy Island to pick up a delivery of shallots as its pickling season, Viv was there and expressed an interest but told him I only do 6 x 2lb jars and he said he would take the lot so Chippers and Andrew if you want any you have to see Viv who might be tempted to let you have a couple but think you have to trade for one of your International trips, seems fair to me boys,![]()

They will be the best you ever eaten if they came from Bedfordshire, all the boys from Bedford will tell you that…

Thought he’d perhaps found a Jake to breed from!
Ran a few miles with these boys back in the Bosnia conflict of the 90’s working for JSL.
Wrighty just wondering if you got your wet suit on as you seem to have had a fair whack of the wet stuff recently, we are damp down here but not as bad as you, Buzzer
Why is a 2:5 kilo leg of British lamb £13 dearer than a 2:5 kilo leg of NZ lamb ? i.e. £33 compared to £20 and we are asked to support British farmers but price differentials such as this is taking the ■■■■ surely ! And I know which is tastier and it aint the UK lamb ! Cheers Bewick.

Well Dennis this is a bit of “Baa Baa humbug” if you ask me especially after Brexit all the Welsh farmers said it would ruin them, quite the opposite has occurred and the sheep farmers of this country have never had it so good that being said British food has long been far to cheap so maybe they are getting there just rewards, same thing happens in road haulage as you well know, any decent operator knows his costs and wont move out of the yard unless he gets the right rate for the job, plenty hauliers work too cheap but they generally dont last
Personally I still use a local butcher and last week I got a nice leg of lamb locally produced for £17 qwid which was very reasonable, before we would wait till Tesco did £10 specials and buy a dozen for the freezer all New Zealand of course. Beef has been on a high for farmers as well but it is deserved, what I dont understand is people milking cows and losing 3 to 4P a litre, they are brain dead and super markets use it as a lost leader as everyone needs milk every day, Buzzer
