Looks like those were torched, like some were done this way by an arsonist David.
Cheers Dave.
They were just dragged out of the bushes for the sale Dave, that’s why the number plate
is jammed in the front. Here’s one that was a runner at the sale.

I can see what you mean now David, did notice the lot number on the front. Three were written off this way in an arson attack several years ago.
Cheers Dave.
There’s a pic on here somewhere of a load of redundant Stamper motors stood in a row.
When was the sale you are on about by the way, I’m assuming it was years ago and not a recent sale of scrap and restorable motors was it.
It was 10 or 12 years ago at least. Everything in the yard was put up for sale. Not sure how many
have been restored but there were a couple of rare motors in there.

It seems a waste of money to me letting all of these rot, some looked quite new.

You are a ■■■■■■■ masochist Robert !!
Hope the driver was OK though apart from needing a change of under wear
Bewick.
I remember passing that. M1 southbound I recall! Most of the fleet got parked up due to the snow. Light weights. I tipped down south somewhere then reloaded Slough for Bellshill. Hardly saw any of them general muppets in 2 days!
